Step-by-Step Guide: Installing and Configuring Acelle Mail Email Marketing Software

To install and configure Acelle Mail, an open-source email marketing software, follow these steps:

  1. Download the latest version of Acelle Mail from the official website (https://acellemail.com/).
  2. Extract the downloaded archive and upload the files to your server using FTP.
  3. Create a new MySQL database and user for Acelle Mail, and grant the user full permissions to the database.
  4. Open a web browser and navigate to the installation URL for Acelle Mail (e.g. http://yourdomain.com/acellemail/install).
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the installation process. You will need to provide the following information:
    • The database name, username, and password that you created in step 3.
    • The URL of your Acelle Mail installation.
    • A valid email address for the system administrator.
    • A password for the system administrator account.
  6. Once the installation is complete, log in to the Acelle Mail dashboard using the email address and password that you provided during the installation process.
  7. Configure Acelle Mail by setting up your sending server, creating email lists and campaigns, and setting up any additional features or integrations that you want to use.
